Dort können mit Anleitung unserer erfahrenen Notfallsanitäter und unter Aufsicht unserer Chefärzte Dr. Hengl Wolfgang und Dr. Bracht Michael verschiedene notfallmedizinische Techniken angewendet werden. Auf diese Schulungstage werden unserer Sanitäter in theoretischen Vorträgen bei den Monatsversammlungen vorbereitet.

Neue Rettungswache in Innsbruck

Seit Anfang Oktober 2008 ist die Dienststelle des ASB in Innsbruck von der ARBÖ Zentrale am Stadlweg in die neuen Räumlichkeiten Valiergasse 58a umgezogen.

Hier steht den Dienstmannschaften eine zeitgemäße Unterkunft zur Verfügung. Neben Büros, Aufenthalts- und Ruheräumen gibt es einen Schulungsraum für interne Aus- und Fortbildungen sowie für Erste Hilfe Kurse und Seminare.

Neue RTWs beim ASB Tirol

ASB Tirol setzt weitere neue RTWs ein

Bis Anfang des nächsten Jahres werden zwei weitere, moderne RTWs die Flotte des ASB Tirol ergänzen, wobei diese vorerst ältere Fahrzeuge ersetzen. Damit verfolgt der ASB Tirol konsequent seine Linie, einen modernen, einheitlichen Fahrzeugpark zu betreiben.

Angekauft werden wieder 2 VW T5 „Hornis Silver“ von Ambulanz Mobile. Beide Fahrzeuge sind mit Allrad angetrieben und mit Klimaanlage, Zusatzheizung und Luftfederung ausgestattet.

Am Samstag den 25.10.2008 fand im AWH Kufstein die Hauptübung der Feuerwehr Kufstein statt. Übungsannahme war, dass es bei einem Brand im 3. Stock des Neubaus zu einer starken Rauchentwicklung, gekommen ist. Neben der Brandbekämpfung war natürlich die Bergung der Betroffenen oberstes Gebot.

Feuerwehrübung Niederndorferberg

Am Do den 9.10.2008 fand bei der Feuerwehr Niederndorferberg eine gemeinsame Übung der Feuerwehr und dem ASB Tirol statt. Unter anderem wurde die Bergung einer verunfallten Person nachgestellt. Dabei ist es immer wichtig die Zusammenarbeit von verschiedenen Einsatzorganisationen zu trainieren.

Am 27.09.2008 fand im Bereich Feuerwehrhaus der Kirchbichler Sicherheitstag statt. Neben der Feuerwehr Kirchbichl, welche die gesamte Palette ihrer Einsatzfahrzeuge präsentierte, waren auch der Samariterbund Tirol, die Polizei, der Katastrophenschutz Tirol, der ARBÖ und ein 50 Tonnen Kranwagen der FA. Felbermayr mit dabei.

Arbeitsreiches Wochenende

Ein arbeitsreiches Wochenende beim ASB Tirol

Schon am Freitag, den 5.9. , besetzten wir ab 14.00 Uhr mit Ehrenamtlichen einen zusätzlichen RTW für den Ambulanzdienst "Rockfestival" in Wörgl, der ab 19.00 Uhr von einem 2. RTW mit noch 3 Sanitätern laut Veranstaltungsbescheid verstärkt wurde.
Parallel lief in Hopfgarten beim Schlagerfestival noch ein Sanitätsdienst. Auch dort war ein RTW ab 19.00 Uhr mit 2 Sanitätern eingeteilt.

Am Samstag, den 6.9., war der ASB Tirol zu einer großangelegten Übung eingeladen. Das Altenwohnheim in Kirchbichl sollte nach einem Brand evakuiert werden.

Wieder neue Rettungssanitäter beim ASB

Der Sommer-Rettungssanitäterkurs 2008 war wieder ein voller Erfolg. 12 neue Sanitäter verstärken nun das ASB Team.
Chefarzt Dr. Hengl hob die Arbeit des Kursleiters Martin Gstrein besonders hervor, der sich wirklich viel Mühe gab, diese anspruchsvolle Ausbildung zu einem positiven Abschluss zu bringen. Geschäftsführer Gerhard Czappek lobte bei der Dekretverleihung das Durchhaltevermögen der Teilnehmer und den außergewöhnlich guten Notendurchschnitt bei der Abschlussprüfung.
